Mount Holyoke alum signings were a delight!

It was such a pleasure to meet so many alums at Mount Holyoke’s reunion weekends!

A display of Killingly hardcovers at Odyssey Bookshop in South Hadley

The folks at Odyssey Bookshop were kind, lovely hosts, and nobody seemed to mind toooo much that I was a Smithie rather than an MHC grad. (My own 20th reunion the first weekend was fun, too!) As my author copies hadn’t arrived yet when I left for this trip, seeing the display of hardcovers when I first walked into the store was an emotional moment. It’s hard to believe this book I first thought of in 2009 is finally in the world.

I signed lots of extra copies—you can order one or stop by if you’re in the area—and also had time to visit some familiar campus sites (pictured: Porter Hall, Mary Lyon’s grave)…

I’m really excited for the Cleveland book launch and my PA & New England tour. Looking forward to meeting more folks on the road!—KB
